Bitterly disappointed. Beef was a bit tough, no horseradish served, had to ask. Roast potatoes tasted like frozen ones. Yorkshire pudding looked homemade, but possibly cooked earlier and reheated.

Nice atmosphere, honest pub food and good service. 3 courses for £15 at Sunday lunch a real bargain. Oh, and a good selection of ales.

The Pulteney is a great place for a pint or 4 before/after Bath Rugby games.has a great atmosphere and friendly bar staff.
