The Bahir Dar market is a pleasant 10 minute walk away. It is rough but an interesting outing on the palm lined streets.

Book your complementary massage early to enjoy your preferred time. The spa is nice, reasonable service.

Take note that the Lake Tanu monasteries charge $6 per head per monastery. Women are not allowed inside even if you have paid.

The mosquitos come out at night! Be sure to have repellent handy at dinner and night. There is a reason the beds have mosquito netting!
