Came for a peaceful hike around the hills. Found that they were holding the annual kite flying festival and giving away goodies. Lots of families flying kites and picnicking.

Got tipped off about this serene park while getting coffee down the street at Holy Grounds on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Total silence and peace as we walked the trails with our pups. A true oasis.

Hills on both sides of the park provide great views, of downtown LA, Catalina Island, San Gabriel Mountains, Hollywood Hills, and on clear days, San Jacinto and San Gorgonio, some hundred miles east.
