The David Traylor Zoo is a nice place to visit. I come everytime I am in Emporia. Also it is free - although I donate some cash every visit. I really enjoy this little zoo.

The muntjac deer was soooo cute but it rarely comes out. It's best to go near closing time cause that's when they feed the animals and they come out to eat.
