Local prehistory is fascinating - dinosaurs, the ice age legacy, and the museum's pièce de la resistance: the mammoth. There is also an after hours program on a variety of topics.

Did you know that the mammoth excavated in Kenosha County has rewritten history books? Carbon dating of tool marks on bones placed humans in this area before previously dated.
