This station really needs refurbishment - watch your footing in the rain, the roof leaks like a sieve!

...there is only one ticket machine on the North side. The South side has two machines and a ticket booth.

To reach Southend Victoria, follow High Street through town and walk towards the Victoria Shopping Centre. Follow signs in side the Shopping Centre to reach the Victoria Station.

Trains towards London generally depart from Platforms 3 & 4.Trains towards Shoeburyness from Platform 2Platform 1 is largely unused except for contingency purposes.

There are self-service ticket machines on both sides of the station.

The back of 8-carriage trains to London from Platform 3 go from like 1/2 way up the Platform
