The Flaming Hill is located in Muhammadli, one of Baku’s environs. As the only surviving place with natural fire sustained due to the natural gas running upon the surface, the site was granted the status of the State Historic and Cultural Reserve, also known as Pilpile, Bozdagh, Gaynaja, etc.
