Nice place, til they started ripping it up for the upcoming Games. Combined with it's growing popularity it's a traffic nightmare and it will only get worse.

Picnic lots are established under a wide array of conditions, full sun to full shade and everything in between to choose from for your comfort.

Close parking to Red Deer river access point. Picnicking areas with fire pits, in fair distance from one picnicking lot to the next.
