Many massage saloons here as well. A good spot to try snake soup.

This night market is covered, perfect for rainy days. Not the best night market, so combine it with Guangzhou Night Market and Longshan Temple. Halfway is a restaurant with giant snakes.

Not many snake shops anymore but the neighboring Wan Hua night market is cool to check out

It is actually quite confusing whether Huaxi night market is the same as Bangka night market, but anyway I like it here more than Shilin and Raohe.

Seafood Soup in a sour broth. I would just call this a Taiwanese version of Tom Yum Soup with half the success. Not worth trying if you are used to the Thai version.

Tea Eggs and Tofu were very good. One of the best preparations that I have tasted. Authentically prepared for the best taste. Highly recommended!!!

Szechuan Soup with black fungus, mushrooms and tofu. Mildly spicy and slightly sour. Its nothing much but a huge bowl or starchy soup with some of those ingredients mentioned. Tasty but not the best.

Steamed Pork Dumplings. These were exceptionally good. The skin was a little thicker than the ones found in South East Asia but the pork filling was heavenly. This goes with a dash of vinegar. Superb!
