I've been here three times in the last five years, and I still don't know how I feel about it. It's sad that adults teach their children that it's okay to chase after and corner frightened animals.

And now, unfortunately, it's also okay to throw carrot sticks at giraffes because you don't like being licked.

If you're bringing children with you, please try and remind them to not scream around the deer. And for the love of all that is sacred, *don't* give the bears a drink. (Photo is from 2009.)

The animals always seem happy and active. They have a wide variety of animals and they're about to get giraffes too! I drive two hours just to go here. Totally worth it.
