Danang Museum, founded in 1989, built on a new site at 24 Tran Phu St., Thanh Thang Ward, Hai Chau Dist in the National Monument site of Thanh Dien Hai. Inaugurated and opening on 26 April 2011

the museum is located inside of Điện Hải citadel, the famous construction built in 19th century by the reputative general Nguyễn Tri Phương to fight against the French army's attack.

there are abt 2500 objs & docs. area : 3000 m2. Key topics : the natural & social history of ĐN, the revolutionary struggle, war rembants of US army and culture of ethnic groups in ĐN & Quảng Nam.
