The history and present of Stax are not to be missed. The museum is a a combination of fantastic music, interesting history and cool memorabilia. A Memphis must do for music lovers

I checked with a few locals and they recommended Staci museum over the rock n soul museum. Great place and lots to learn about the origins of soul music. The video in the beginning is also great.

One of the best Memphis stops! Wether you like to read every line or walk through and dance it's a beautiful historical journey & landmark. And the proceeds go to the school attached!! Great cause! ❤️

The best music museum in Memphis. Traces the whole journey of Soul from its roots to the heights of the 60s and 70s. Recreated in the original Stax Records location.
