Great, inviting atmosphere, especially in winter. Friendly Staff. Highly recommend the Steak & Tanglefoot Pie which won EBLEX England's Best Steak Pie 2015. Good selection of wines & ales. Free wifi.

Pretty quiet during a half-term lunch time, good food, average prices (£9 for a classic burger & chips), roaring fire.
