Try to attend one of the ranger lectures in the amphitheater at 9:15pm. They last only 30-45 minutes and can teach you a part of the park you wouldn't normally hear like dinosaurs or owls.

Steer clear of site B-1, not a lick of shade here. Feels like we are camping on the sun. Some have shade, some none. Ask before paying for reservation, they won't let you switch.

This campground, as well as South Campground, offer RV parking, flush toilets, fire grates, picnic tales and river access. For reservations at either campground: recreation.gov or 877-444-6777.
