The hostel is clean and with great location. I would recommend other back packers visiting Galway or going on day trips to Aran Islands or Cliffs of Moher etc to stay here.

Used to be a hotel. Lots of space in the room, lockable "cages" under beds for storage, plugs in every bed. Yes.

The carpeting is not a good idea in a hostel. There where dirty spots everywhere. We only got a shower curtain after we asked for it&it was way too short. The bathroom was flooded after one shower.

This is quite a luxury hostel compared to the price for a dorm bed. Breakfast, coffee, several juices and a large clean kitchen are all included. Not to mention the fantastic carpet.
