Good location but a lot of noise internal and external, hard pillows, very average breakfast and staff a bit uninterested. I would be happier if it was overall spotless clean (which wasn’t).

The location couldn't be any better...but: the club across the street is loud EVERY night, that might be bad for light sleepers. I think it's fine. Breakfast is ok, bacon could be crispier though.

Third floor room on the side of the building seems fine. Good double windows so no noise from the street.

If you are looking for a quiet night and a good sleep, this is not the place as its too noisy outside. Excellent service from the staff though

Room 107 is large enough to host pre-drinking and has a windowsill to chill booze in winter. Plus a bath. Although its at the front so a bit noisy. Solution: drink heavily for restful slumber.

Come and find the dizzy llama for great food, just across Queen St, on Churchill Way. Don't forget to check in for 10% discount from the A La Carte menu.

Our 1st floor room was breathlessly hot, but even if the window opened more than a slither, the noisy drinkers of Cardiff aren't any more conducive to sleep. Staff are pleasant enough though.
