The third room had food in the fridge and also covered with mold the a/c unit had so much build up I had to take the filter out just to let the air move.

Microtel of ames has some issues. We stayed in ames last weekend for a wedding and to our surprise we stayed in the worst place possible. Our first room had people in it.

Kind of gross place, woke up in the morning (after a night of loud noise from upstairs, albeit not the hotel's fault) with all sorts of bites on my back and legs. Very sketchy place, very low quality
