This library is showing its age, but the staff are doing their utmost to keep it vibrant. A wonderful space that needs updating.

You can order any item from any GVPL location and have it transferred to the library closest to you.

I used the GVPL online system to recommend a DVD I wanted to view but the library didn't have in its catalogue. I received notice today that they will be purchasing a copy of "Bill Cunningham New York

Did you know you can get DVD movies of even the newest releases for FREE at the GVPL? I watch all my favourite HBO TV series this way now.

notable for its selection of documentaries on dvd, which look like audio compact discs, but play movies when inserted into special vcrs.
