Wantan mee. Old-school feel from Hoe Soon #01-158. Their larger serving $3.50 comes with 4 wantans (instead of 3), a lot more char siew slices, extra noodles. Could do w more vege 😬

Chicken rice. The 'white' (boiled) chicken meat fr Ji De Lai #01-152 could do with more bite. Possible overcooked. Ask them to go easy on overpowering sauce poured over meat. Rice is fragrant

Fishball noodles. Shootout between Xiang Xiang 01-177 & neighbour Lu Xiang Ji 01-179, and Xiang Xiang emerged the winner with honest flavourful fishballs. Long wait though
