Not as good as it used to be. Food portions have gotten much smaller for the estate portion . Just go to gundlach next door, whose wine rivals Scribes and bring some of your own food.

Go for the full tasting late in the day and take your time. Beautiful spot and superb wine culture

Grab a picnic basket, and lay out with some of the most beautiful Sonoma views. Skin fermented Chardonnay is the most unique and a must try, and their chardonnays are my personal favorites.

Can see why this place is so trendy. Wine club members get access to the hill and a picnic blanket to overlook the vineyard. For non-members, you have to do a food and wine tasting.
