5 minutes to London Bridge.

As it's only one stop from London Bridge the trains are usually crammed in morning peak hour, don't expect to get a seat.

They are virtually rebuilding the station according to dude in orange overalls. It's needed.

Deptford was the birthplace of the Royal Navy, with royal docks established here by Henry VIII in 1513. Francis Drake set off in the Golden Hinde to circumnavigate the globe from here in 1577.
